To me, excellence in public administration is about how effective we are as leaders and public servants. It is about us leaving our organizations in a better place than we found it. If we all did our bit, the public organizations we work for would experience a continuous and ongoing cycle of change and innovation. Excellence is about being ethical, about our integrity as professionals, about our capacity to be innovative, and our willingness to be adaptable to change.
