Financial Management for Elected Officials
Financial Management for Elected Officials is a practical, skills-based workshop designed to strengthen the financial knowledge and decision-making skills of municipal councillors, mayors and wardens.
Participants will explore:
The workshop is suitable for elected officials serving their first term or their tenth. No formal background in municipal finance is required.
The day will combine instruction with practical examples, municipal case studies and facilitated group discussions. Participants will receive an electronic workbook and a certificate of completion. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
