The Association offers several events throughout the year they include:
Annual Fall Convention
This event is attended by approximately 150 delegates and offers workshops relevant to municipal government, networking events and an exhibit show. The Annual General Meeting of the Association is held during the Fall Convention during which the Association’s Board of Directors is elected.
Annual Spring Conference:
This event is typically hosted by an AMA region and usually attended by 75 to 80 delegates. It offers workshops and is an excellent opportunity to share best practices with colleagues.
The CAO/CEO Forum is an opportunity for Mayors/Wardens to work together with Chief Administrative Officers on issues of significant importance to municipal government in Nova Scotia.
The AMA puts on educational workshops that relate to: Records Management, Financial Management & Leadership. Our educational workshops for the 2016-2017 year are already open for registration. For more details on registration and dates read more on our upcoming workshop page
